My contribution to the excellent Norm 2.0 “Thursday Doors Blog”
The weather has really not been too good here, fleeting bright spells normally when I’ve just got back from a walk ! So some of these images are from my archive.
My theme for this week is Georgian, there are some really nice ones in the city, most are well looked after or are being restored.
I took this on a plastic Vivitar ultrawide film camera, the door has now been restored, I prefer it this way.
Another one that has now been restored
Ok who stole the door pull
Love the canopy above these two
Took these on 20th January, probably the best weather so far this year
Terrific set of doors. I suspect the door pull was removed because that door is not meant to be opened. Where exactly are these in Leicester?

Yes, just behind the lovely horse chestnut tree. :>)

That tree is special. One side of the park is the museum, one side is new walk, one side is a residential home, John Woolman House, the last side is lawyers’ offices. JWH doors don’t open onto the square.
