Ice Skating !

I still haven’t managed to drag persuade anyone to go ice skating with me, all I get is strange looks and talk about broken bones, especially at my age !!!!!!

Been checking on the progress of the rink over the last week.

Today the rink was up and running, but full of kids having a great time.

    gorgeous photos of the wheel!!
    I used to take ice-skating classes as a kid with a trainer and all, and hated it to be honest… especially the falling on the ice part lol :))) still, hope you make it to the rink and have fun 🙂

    Ice skating was part of a Winter Sports holiday. I still have a pair of Ice Skates – black leather and shiny steel skates – It must be about 53 years old since I last skated in them in Wengen in the Bernese Oberland. Happy Days…

      For me it was roller skating, we had a really good rink in the city, still have my roller boots. Went ice skating a few times, being able to roller skate really helped.

    It’s a shame because I would be happy to go skating with you. I’m in the same position … although perhaps the difference is that I don’t know how to skate, and I just bought a pair last week. I’m looking at the skating options nearby and have resigned myself to skating alone.
    Yes – I’m rather anxious about potentially hurting myself and you can be sure I will be that person wearing a helmet 🙂
