I’m writing this feeling sorry for myself, I have broken a tooth and it aches. If you shook me there would be a rattle from all the painkillers. Hopefully on Tuesday when I go to the Dentist it will all be over, got a feeling it will be an extraction, the penalties of getting old (long in the tooth)
Took a walk to town last Thursday, the weather was a bit dull but I needed the exercise and the cats needed some treats.
Wild Roses on the Way
Into the Park
I’m so glad this park is on my route to town, all that Green is good for the soul.
A bit of Variegation

One of my Favourite Buildings in the Town
Palais de Dance
This was the premiere dance hall in the city from the 1950’s to the end of the 70’s. It’s derelict now and about to be converted into apartments. I only visited it a couple of times (not my scene) in the late 60’s and early 70’s, I remember the ceiling complete with the prerequisite glitter ball had lots of tiny lights that looked like a starry night sky.
Sorry you are not feeling well. Hope you can get relief from the dentist on Tuesday!

Thank you, I’m a bit of a coward when it comes to visiting the dentist.

me too! I’ve been procrastinating a visit for a year now! 🙂

It’s been 3 years for me, I don’t have a car at the moment and the dentist is on the other side of town. That’s my weak excuse for not going.

Oh nooo! I’m so sorry to read about your tooth — that sounds like a nightmare. But good for you for distracting yourself (and cheering your readers) with these beautiful photos. I hope all goes well on Tuesday for you.

I can’t wait to get it fixed, it’s stopped hurting so much but that might be to do with the amount of painkillers I’ve taken.

We’ve got that same variegation and don’t you know it, my front tooth fell out too. It doesn’t hurt though, it was simply pushed out by my wicked gums. :p

I’ve lost two at the front, it is the gums and many years of smoking, managed to quit 8 years ago, wish I’d done it sooner.

Indeed. I smoked for 20 years heavily too and quit in 2007.

I still miss cigarettes when I’m out drinking, but all of my friends have quit which makes it easier.
