Not been out and about taking photographs very much lately, friends testing positive for the virus, and the heatwave here in the UK have put a temporary dampener on things. Though I did manage to meet up with the Photo Buddies a couple of weeks ago and find a few doors I hadn’t seen before.
If you would like to see images of some great doors from around the world check out Dan Antion’s excellent blog.

Protected, neglected and stunning. You captured some great doors for this post. The last photo is remarkable, but they are all nice.

Thank you Dan, definitely going to be looking up at the architecture a bit more when I visit the town.

Visiting from Dan’s 🙂
A beautiful collection of doors. Each blue tells a story.
Best wishes, Patricia

Oh the first door is so unusual, to have a pointed roof line right above the arch of the door! The last building reminds me of houses in Amsterdam. Great post.

Thanks Emilie, I will have to see if I can find some history on the first one. Yes, now you have pointed it out, it does have Dutch style about it.

A really nice variety of doors this week, I am rather taken with that last scruffy utilitarian door.
