Thursday Doors

17-08-2023

Met up with my Photo Buddies in the town today (that’s me in the middle) it was great to see the guys again, been too long since our last get together. Managed to get some door photo’s, film and digital, hopefully be posting them next week. For this weeks selection the doors are from the archive taken on my walkabouts over the last few months.

I like a good gate, this one leads to the former site of the Greyfriars Abbey and the burial place of King Richard III

I’m missing my quirky Sigma DP1 camera, think I’ll have to send it off for a repair estimate, especially after seeing how much they are asking for them on auction sites.

Fantastic doors! Saw the movie „The Lost King“ by Steven Frears and learned that after they found the remains of Richard III at the site of Grey Friars Abbey, the King as reburied in Leicester Cathedral.
