Thursday Doors (and gates and windows)

31-08-2023

The Door archive is getting a bit empty, will have to try and get out and about and track down a few more to replenish stocks. These were all taken on the same road, not that far from where I live.

Christchurch Baptist Church , I’m sure the original doors would have been quite ornate, but these let in the light.

*******

Christchurch, side doors.

*******

There are some nice details on the church, I would think it was built in the Victorian era.

*******

I’m guessing this leads to a nursery or Sunday school at the side of the church, love the colours.

*******

Next door to the nursery, a good Victorian front door.

*******

A stout pair of gates (and dustbin lid)

*******

Antique shop window (just down the road from the church) with antique radio.

Some interesting doors. I like the black door with the four window panels. Running out of doors in the archive can be a bit of a bore. I have managed to build up a stock over the summer that will last me until Christmas, at least!
