It’s 30 deg. C / 86 deg. F in the uk today, quite hot for this country. I decided to walk to the hairdressers and have what meagre hair I have shaved to a No. 2 setting, feels so much cooler. Then walked on into town to pick up some essentials, it was quite busy, but I can’t help but think back to the 60’s & 70’s and how lively the city centre once was. Stopped off at my favourite café, had an iced Americano coffee and a homemade cheese scone.
Yesterday I took a few images around the garden with my macro lens, still trying to get the hang of it.
I haven’t used my car for over a fortnight as most of the places I’ve been to recently have been either in the city centre or involved drinking beer. Yesterday I thought I ought to give it a bit of a run, switched on the ignition, turned the key, got one spin of the engine then nothing. So I’m now waiting at home today for a battery charger to be delivered. Why not have a bit of a sort out in the sitting room I thought, of course I got quickly distracted ! Found some buttons in a container that I liked the shape of and decided to make a bit of a still life with them, it was also a good opportunity to get more familiar with my Macro lens.
